The retailer’s acquisition strategy involved leveraging social media and online channels to add mobile opt-in contacts to their customer database. This was accomplished by sending personalized incentives based on relevant customer information – text messages that included upsell sweepstakes campaigns.
Results:
The retailer sent more than 150 million messages annually through mGage’s gateway. Their messaging resulted in growing their mobile opt-in database by more than 5 million and spurred more than 8 million annual online and in-store purchases.
